Your message, in the record of what was decided
The Summits is a review. Published after each summit, it sets out what was actually agreed, what it means and what happens next — the only publication that does this across the G7, G20, B20, APEC and COP. We have been producing it since the Denver Summit of the Eight in 1997.
Since 1997
It began in Denver
Group of Nations published the first-ever G7 Summit publication for the Denver Summit of the Eight in June 1997 — the 23rd G7/G8 summit, hosted by President Clinton at the Denver Public Library, and the first at which Russia participated fully.
Every edition since has followed the same principle: go back after the summit and establish, accurately and in plain language, what was actually decided.
What The Summits is
Most coverage of a summit is written before it happens, or in the twenty-four hours around it — predictions, then headlines. Almost nobody goes back afterwards to establish what was actually agreed.
That is what The Summits does. Each edition is a review, produced after the leaders have gone home: the communiqué set out in plain language, the commitments measured against what was promised at the last summit, and an honest account of what the presidency achieved and what it did not.
No other publication does this across the G7, G20, B20, APEC and COP. It is why our editions are still being opened years later, and why they end up in ministries, universities and institutional archives rather than in recycling.
The communiqué, explained
What the leaders actually signed, translated out of negotiating language into something a reader can use.
Promised against delivered
Commitments from the previous summit, measured against what has since been done. The scorecard nobody else keeps.
The presidency assessed
What the host set out to achieve, what survived the sherpa process, and where the agenda was quietly dropped.
The business track
Which B20 recommendations made it into the leaders’ declaration, and which did not travel.
What carries forward
The items handed to the incoming presidency, and what that means for the year ahead.
The permanent record
Held in ministries, embassies, universities and institutional libraries, and consultable for decades.
Who reads it
Government
The officials who work the process
Sherpas, ministries and delegations preparing for the next presidency, who need an accurate account of the last one.
Business and institutions
Those who have to act on the outcome
The B20 membership, industry federations, banks and multilateral institutions tracking what was actually committed to.
The long term
Press, researchers and archives
Journalists, academics and libraries who return to the review as a source, sometimes years afterwards.
Why it works
Shelf life
Measured in years, not impressions
A digital campaign ends when the budget does. A review of record is consulted whenever someone needs to know what was agreed — which is for years.
Audience
Small, and exactly the right people
There is no wastage. The people who read a summit review afterwards are the people whose work depends on the outcome.
Association
The company you keep
Your organisation appears inside the account of what was decided — alongside heads of state, scholars and institutions, in a volume produced with the authorisation of the host committee.

Every review is different, and so is every organisation. Fifteen minutes on the phone will tell you far more than a rate card — which review fits, where you would sit within it, and what it would cost.
